Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes NGFI-A-binding protein 2 (gene NAB2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
NAB2 (NGFI-A-binding protein 2) is a corepressor of EGR1 and EGR2 whose own expression is induced by EGR signaling, forming a negative feedback loop. It is important for Schwann cell myelination, and the NAB2-STAT6 gene fusion defines solitary fibrous tumor.

Recombinant human NAB2 fragment (Asp235–Gln525), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 96.6%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places NGFI-A-binding protein 2 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed at low levels.
