Product Overview
Clone 28N84 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes arylamine N-acetyltransferase 1 (gene NAT1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 33.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 30 kDa.
Arylamine N-acetyltransferase 1 (NAT1) transfers acetyl groups from acetyl-CoA to aromatic amines and hydrazines, detoxifying or activating drugs and carcinogens. Unlike NAT2, it is widely expressed across tissues and also acetylates endogenous substrates, and it is studied in xenobiotic metabolism and breast cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): LnCaP cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human NAT1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places arylamine N-acetyltransferase 1 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
