Product Overview
Clone 23N68 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes neutrophil cytosol factor 1 (gene NCF1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 44.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 45 kDa.
p47phox (NCF1) is the organizer subunit of the phagocyte NADPH oxidase NOX2. On cell activation it is phosphorylated and moves to the membrane, recruiting p67phox and assembling the active enzyme that produces superoxide for microbial killing. NCF1 deficiency is the most common autosomal form of chronic granulomatous disease.
