Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 1 (gene NCR1) in human and mouse samples and is validated for IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 34.5 kDa.
NCR1 (NKp46, CD335) is an activating receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and some innate lymphoid cells. It belongs to the natural cytotoxicity receptor group and helps trigger NK cell killing of tumor and virus-infected cells, and it is widely used as a marker to identify NK cells in both humans and mice.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human tonsil tissue, mouse spleen tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): mouse spleen cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 1 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Selectively expressed by both resting and activated NK cells.
