Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets NEDD4 family-interacting protein 1 (gene NDFIP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 24.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 28 kDa.
NDFIP1 is a membrane adaptor that activates HECT-type E3 ubiquitin ligases of the NEDD4 family, especially ITCH and NEDD4. By boosting ubiquitination of their targets, it limits inflammatory T-cell responses, supports peripheral T-cell tolerance and regulates antiviral and ion channel signaling, and it is studied in immune regulation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human HeLa cells, human PC-3 cells, human Jurkat cells, human HEL cells, human SH-SY5Y cells, rat brain tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse brain tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): RT4 cells.

Recombinant human NDFIP1 fragment (Ala10–Tyr221), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places NEDD4 family-interacting protein 1 in the endosome membrane, Golgi apparatus membrane, synapse and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
