Product Overview
Clone ADOE-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein NDRG1 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 42.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
NDRG1 is a stress-responsive member of the N-myc downstream-regulated gene family, induced by hypoxia, DNA damage and other signals. It supports myelin maintenance in peripheral nerve Schwann cells, vesicle recycling and p53-dependent responses, and it is studied as a growth-suppressive factor in many cancers and in hereditary neuropathy.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human NDRG1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places protein NDRG1 in the cytoplasm, nucleus and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
