Product Overview
Clone 30N94 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes acyl carrier protein, mitochondrial (gene NDUFAB1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 17.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 14 kDa.
NDUFAB1 is the mitochondrial acyl carrier protein, which carries growing fatty acid chains during mitochondrial fatty acid synthesis. It also serves as an accessory subunit of complex I and partners with NFS1 and LYRM4 in the complex that starts iron-sulfur cluster assembly, linking lipid synthesis, Fe-S biogenesis and respiration.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A431 cells, human HepG2 cells, human MCF-7 cells, human 293T cells, human THP-1 cells, human PC-3 cells, rat RH35 cells, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue, human thyroid cancer tissue, human breast cancer tissue, human placenta tissue, human testicular germ cells tumor tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
