Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects NADH dehydrogenase (gene NDUFB11) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
NDUFB11 is an accessory subunit of mitochondrial complex I (NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase), the large enzyme of the inner mitochondrial membrane that passes electrons from NADH to ubiquinone and starts the respiratory chain. Accessory subunits are not thought to take part in catalysis but help build and stabilize the complex, and they are used as markers in studies of mitochondrial function and oxidative phosphorylation.
