Product Overview
Clone GOA-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase NEDD4-like (gene NEDD4L) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 111.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 130 kDa.
NEDD4L (NEDD4-2) is a HECT-type E3 ubiquitin ligase closely related to NEDD4. It controls the surface levels of ion channels, notably the epithelial sodium channel ENaC, and limits TGF-β signaling by degrading SMAD2 and TGFBR1, so it is studied in blood pressure regulation, epithelial transport and signaling.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, human HeLa cells, human RT4 cells, mouse spleen tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:5000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase NEDD4-like in the cytoplasm, Golgi apparatus and endosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels in prostate, pancreas, and kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
