Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes serine/threonine-protein kinase Nek11 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
NEK11 is a serine/threonine kinase of the NIMA-related kinase (NEK) family. It acts in the G2/M checkpoint after DNA damage, where it phosphorylates the phosphatase CDC25A to mark it for degradation, helping to hold cells back from entering mitosis.

Immunogen
Recombinant human NEK11 fragment (Glu72–Gln630), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 71.1%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places serine/threonine-protein kinase Nek11 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Poorly expressed in cerebellum, trachea, lung, appendix, and uterus.
