Product Overview
Clone 22N58 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes serine/threonine-protein kinase Nek6 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 35.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 28 kDa.
NEK6 is a NIMA-related serine/threonine kinase that is activated by NEK9 during mitosis. It supports spindle assembly, chromosome segregation and cytokinesis, in part by phosphorylating the kinesin KIF11 (Eg5), and it is studied in cell cycle control.
