Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets neuropilin and tolloid-like protein 2 (gene NETO2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
NETO2 is a CUB domain transmembrane protein that serves as an auxiliary subunit of kainate-type glutamate receptors, mainly GluK2 and GluK3. It raises channel open probability and slows receptor deactivation, which prolongs kainate receptor-mediated synaptic currents.

Immunogen
Recombinant human NETO2 fragment (Ile23–Phe525), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 97.8% and 97.4%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places neuropilin and tolloid-like protein 2 in the membrane.
