Product Overview
Clone AAFI-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes neurogenic differentiation factor 1 (gene NEUROD1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 39.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 47 kDa.
NeuroD1 (BETA2) is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that binds E-box DNA sequences and works with p300/CBP. It drives differentiation of neurons and pancreatic endocrine cells and regulates insulin gene expression, and it is also studied for converting glial cells into neurons.
