Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes neuroguidin (gene NGDN) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 35.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 36 kDa.
Neuroguidin (NGDN) is a nucleolar protein and component of the small subunit processome, the large assembly that processes pre-rRNA to make the small (40S) ribosomal subunit. It was first described as an eIF4E-binding protein in neurons, and it is studied in ribosome biogenesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HL-60 cells, human PC-3 cells, human K562 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): PC-3 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U251 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human NGDN fragment (Glu8–Lys191), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places neuroguidin in the nucleus, chromosome, cytoplasm and cell projection. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
