Product Overview
Clone DBO-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 16 (gene NGFR) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 45.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR, NGFR, CD271) is a TNF receptor superfamily member that binds all neurotrophins with low affinity. With Trk receptors it fine-tunes neurotrophin signaling, while with sortilin family partners it binds proneurotrophins and can trigger cell death; it is also a widely used marker of neural crest and some stem cells.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
