Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets membrane-associated phosphatidylinositol transfer protein 1 (gene PITPNM1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PITPNM1 (Nir2) is a membrane-associated phosphatidylinositol transfer protein that works at endoplasmic reticulum-plasma membrane contact sites. It moves phosphatidylinositol to the plasma membrane and phosphatidic acid back to the ER, replenishing PI(4,5)P2 after receptor-triggered phospholipase C activity.
