Product Overview
Clone 6B5 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UHRF2 in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 90.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90 kDa.
UHRF2 is an E3 ubiquitin ligase related to UHRF1 that links chromatin marks with ubiquitination. It can recognize 5-hydroxymethylcytosine in DNA and has been implicated in DNA methylation, histone modification, cell-cycle control and DNA repair. It is studied in epigenetics and genome maintenance.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human, Rat) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HT1080 cells, human Jurkat cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HeLa cells, RH35 cells.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human NIRF. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and rat. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UHRF2 in the nucleus and chromosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
