Product Overview
Clone 28N78 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes nodal homolog in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 39.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
Nodal is a secreted TGF-β superfamily ligand that signals through activin-type receptors and SMAD2/3. In the embryo it is required for mesoderm and endoderm formation and for establishing left–right asymmetry. It is also studied in maintaining pluripotency of human embryonic stem cells.
