Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets NADPH oxidase 5 (gene NOX5) in human samples and is validated for ELISA, flow cytometry, ICC/IF and Western blot.
NADPH oxidase 5 (NOX5) is a calcium-activated NOX enzyme with EF-hand motifs that generates superoxide from oxygen using NADPH. It does not require the cytosolic subunits used by other NOX isoforms. NOX5 is present in humans but absent from mice and rats, and it is studied in vascular, testis and immune cell redox signaling.
