Product Overview
Clone 19N84 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes neutrophil cytosol factor 2 (gene NCF2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 59.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 67 kDa.
p67phox (NCF2) is the activator subunit of the phagocyte NADPH oxidase NOX2. When recruited to the membrane with p47phox and Rac, it switches on electron transfer from NADPH through gp91phox to produce superoxide. NCF2 mutations cause an autosomal recessive form of chronic granulomatous disease.

Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
