Product Overview
Clone AAOB-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (gene NQO1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 30.9 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 27,31 kDa.
NAD(P)H quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) is a flavoprotein that reduces quinones directly to hydroquinones in a two-electron step, avoiding reactive semiquinone intermediates. It is a classic NRF2 target gene and also stabilizes proteins such as p53. NQO1 is studied in antioxidant defense, xenobiotic metabolism and cancer, and it is often overexpressed in tumors.

Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): mouse stomach tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human NQO1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places NAD(P)H dehydrogenase in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
