Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects nuclear receptor-binding factor 2 (gene NRBF2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 32.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 38 kDa.
NRBF2 (nuclear receptor-binding factor 2) was first described as a modulator of nuclear receptor activity. It is also a component of the class III PI3K complex I containing VPS34, Beclin 1 and ATG14, where it helps stabilize the complex and supports autophagy. It is studied in autophagy regulation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, human PC-3 cells, human U-87MG cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U2OS cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human NRBF2 fragment (Met1–Asn287), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places nuclear receptor-binding factor 2 in the nucleus, cytoplasm and cytoplasmic vesicle. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in keratinocytes, liver and placenta. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
