Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets histone-lysine N-methyltransferase NSD3 in human and monkey samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 161.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90 kDa.
NSD3 (also called WHSC1L1) is a histone methyltransferase of the NSD family that methylates histone H3 at lysine 36. Its gene lies in the 8p11-12 region, which is often amplified in breast and lung cancers, and a short non-catalytic isoform links BRD4 to chromatin regulators. It is studied in epigenetics and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A549 cells, monkey COS-7 cells, human HeLa cells, human MCF-7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human NSD3 fragment (Gln46–Lys1425), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and monkey. UniProt places histone-lysine N-methyltransferase NSD3 in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in brain, heart and skeletal muscle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
