Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein FAN (gene NSMAF) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
NSMAF (also called FAN, factor associated with neutral sphingomyelinase activation) is a WD-repeat adaptor protein that binds the cytoplasmic region of TNF receptor 1. It couples TNF signaling to activation of neutral sphingomyelinase and ceramide production, and it is studied in TNF-induced signaling and inflammation.
