Product Overview
Clone 30N17 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes endonuclease III-like protein 1 (gene NTHL1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 34.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 34 kDa.
NTHL1 is a DNA glycosylase that starts base excision repair of oxidized pyrimidines such as thymine glycol. It removes the damaged base and then nicks the DNA backbone at the resulting abasic site, so it is studied in oxidative DNA damage, genome stability and inherited colorectal polyposis linked to NTHL1 loss.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places endonuclease III-like protein 1 in the nucleus and mitochondrion.
