Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes kinetochore protein Nuf2 in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 54.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 54 kDa.
NUF2 is a subunit of the NDC80 complex, the main microtubule-binding assembly at the outer kinetochore. It is required for stable kinetochore–microtubule attachment, spindle checkpoint signaling and accurate chromosome segregation, and it is often studied as a mitosis marker and in cancer cell proliferation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A431 cells, human U251 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human NUF2 fragment (Met1–Gln297), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places kinetochore protein Nuf2 in the nucleus and chromosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
