Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects nuclear pore complex protein Nup107 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 106.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 106 kDa.
Nup107 is a core component of the Nup107–160 subcomplex, which forms the scaffold rings of the nuclear pore complex. It is required for nuclear pore assembly and for recruiting peripheral nucleoporins, and mutations in NUP107 have been linked to kidney disease (steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome).

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human liver cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HEL cells.
Samples with a confirmed result (IP): 293T cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human NUP107 fragment (Lys30–His790), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places nuclear pore complex protein Nup107 in the nuclear membrane, nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed in fetal and adult tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
