Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets nucleoporin p54 (gene NUP54) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
Nup54 is a member of the central channel Nup62 subcomplex of the nuclear pore complex. Its phenylalanine-glycine (FG) repeats help form the permeability barrier through which transport receptors carry cargo between the nucleus and cytoplasm.

Immunogen
Recombinant human NUP54 fragment (Asp132–Gln465), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places nucleoporin p54 in the nucleus, nuclear membrane and nucleoplasmic side.
