Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects nuclear pore glycoprotein p62 (gene NUP62) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 53.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 68–72 kDa.
Nup62 is an O-GlcNAc-modified FG-repeat nucleoporin at the central channel of the nuclear pore complex, where it is central to nucleocytoplasmic transport. Outside the pore, it also associates with centrosomes and contributes to centrosome segregation and spindle orientation during mitosis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human PC-3 cells, human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human Jurkat cells, rat testis tissue, rat RH35 cells, mouse testis tissue, mouse NIH3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human ovarian cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human NUP62 fragment (Glu404–Asp522), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places nuclear pore glycoprotein p62 in the nucleus, cytoplasm and nucleus envelope. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
