Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects MHC class II associated invariant chain (gene MHC Ii) in Nurse shark samples.
In the nurse shark (Ginglymostoma cirratum), this protein is the MHC class II-associated invariant chain, the counterpart of mammalian CD74. In vertebrates, the invariant chain acts as a chaperone that helps assemble MHC class II molecules and directs them to endosomal compartments for antigen loading, and cartilaginous fish are studied as early vertebrates with MHC-based adaptive immunity.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Nurse shark. UniProt describes MHC class II associated invariant chain as a secreted protein.
