Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ciliary microtubule associated protein 1A (gene CIMAP1A) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 27.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 28 kDa.
CIMAP1A (ODF3) is a protein associated with the outer dense fibers of the sperm tail, structures that run alongside the axoneme. It is thought to help maintain the elastic structure of the flagellum, and it is studied in sperm and cilia biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): mouse testis tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human ODF3 fragment (Ser25–Glu254), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places ciliary microtubule associated protein 1A in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Testis-specific. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
