Product Overview
Clone 25O10 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes oncostatin-M (gene OSM) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 28.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 22 kDa.
Oncostatin M (OSM) is an IL-6 family cytokine produced mainly by activated T cells, monocytes and neutrophils. It signals through gp130 paired with OSMR or LIFR to activate JAK–STAT pathways, and it is studied in inflammation, liver regeneration, fibrosis, bone remodeling and hematopoiesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Jurkat cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human oncostatin M.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt describes oncostatin-M as a secreted protein. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
