Product Overview
Clone ACCC-15 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes alpha-1-acid glycoprotein 1 (gene ORM1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 23.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 47 kDa.
Alpha-1-acid glycoprotein 1 (AGP, orosomucoid, ORM1) is a heavily glycosylated plasma protein made mainly by the liver. It is a major acute-phase protein whose levels rise during inflammation, it binds many basic and neutral drugs, and it is studied as an inflammation marker and in drug binding.
