Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain-containing protein 1A (gene RPRD1A) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 35.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 36 kDa.
RPRD1A (also called P15RS) contains a CID domain that binds the phosphorylated C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA polymerase II. It works with RPRD1B and the phosphatase RPAP2 to remove phosphates from the CTD, and it has been reported to dampen Wnt/β-catenin signaling and restrain cell cycle progression.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human A431 cells, human Jurkat cells, human SH-SY5Y cells, rat brain tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human breast cancer tissue, human colon cancer tissue, mouse brain tissue, rat brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed result (IP): SH-SY5Y cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human P15RS/RPRD1A fragment (Glu76–Asp235), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain-containing protein 1A in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
