Product Overview
Clone 18R87 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes rab9 effector protein with kelch motifs (gene RABEPK) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 40.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 47 kDa.
RABEPK (p40) is a kelch-repeat protein that binds GTP-bound Rab9. As a Rab9 effector it is needed for transport from late endosomes back to the trans-Golgi network.

|---|---|
| Flow cytometry | 1:50 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HepG2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human p40.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places rab9 effector protein with kelch motifs in the cytoplasm and endosome membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
