Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 1 (gene PAK1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
PAK1 is a serine/threonine kinase activated by the small GTPases CDC42 and RAC1. It controls actin remodeling, cell adhesion and migration, and also feeds into MAP kinase and survival signaling, which makes it a frequent subject in cell motility and cancer research.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 1 in the cytoplasm, cell junction, cell projection and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Overexpressed in gastric cancer cells and tissues (at protein level).
