Product Overview
Clone AEDE-16 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes partitioning defective 6 homolog alpha (gene PARD6A) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 37.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 42 kDa.
PAR6A (PARD6A) is an adaptor of the PAR polarity complex that links active CDC42 and RAC to atypical PKC. It contributes to epithelial tight junction formation and cell polarity, and also helps organize microtubules at the centrosome.
