Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes poly (gene PARP1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PARP1 is an abundant nuclear enzyme that detects DNA strand breaks and builds poly(ADP-ribose) chains on itself, histones and repair factors using NAD+. These chains recruit repair proteins to damaged DNA, and PARP1 is the main target of PARP inhibitors used against BRCA-deficient cancers.
