Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets POZ-, AT hook-, and zinc finger-containing protein 1 (gene PATZ1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 74.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
PATZ1 is a BTB/POZ zinc-finger transcription factor that can act as an activator or repressor. It influences embryonic development, T-cell development, neurogenesis and senescence, and it can bind p53 and modulate its activity.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Raji cells, human A549 cells, human HeLa cells, human 293T cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HeLa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PATZ1 fragment (Met145–Gln680), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 98.9%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places POZ-, AT hook-, and zinc finger-containing protein 1 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
