Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes pre-B-cell leukemia transcription factor 4 (gene PBX4) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 40.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 39 kDa.
PBX4 is a member of the PBX family of TALE homeodomain transcription factors, which act as partners of HOX proteins. Its specific functions have not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human SK-OV-3 cells, human A2780 cells, human COLO320 cells, human RAW264.7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A431 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PBX4 fragment (Ala3–Gln355), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 78.1%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places pre-B-cell leukemia transcription factor 4 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
