Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets protocadherin gamma-C4 (gene PCDHGC4) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 101.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 101 kDa.
Protocadherin γ-C4 (PCDHGC4) is a C-type clustered γ-protocadherin, a Ca2+-dependent adhesion protein expressed in the brain. It has been linked to neuronal survival during development and to the formation of neural connections.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human U251 cells, rat C6 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.

Reactivity Notes
