Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (gene CD274) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 33.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 62 kDa.
PD-L1 (CD274) is a transmembrane ligand that binds the inhibitory receptor PD-1 on T cells and limits their activation, helping maintain tolerance to self. Many tumors upregulate PD-L1 to escape immune attack, which made the PD-1/PD-L1 axis a cornerstone of immune checkpoint research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 in the cell membrane, early endosome membrane, recycling endosome membrane and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle, placenta and lung. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
