Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets cAMP and cAMP-inhibited cGMP 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 10A (gene PDE10A) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 88.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 100 kDa.
PDE10A is a dual-specificity phosphodiesterase that breaks down both cAMP and cGMP, with a preference for cAMP. It is highly enriched in striatal medium spiny neurons, where it tunes cyclic nucleotide signaling in circuits that control movement and cognition, making it a focus of neuroscience and CNS drug discovery research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): A549 cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places cAMP and cAMP-inhibited cGMP 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 10A in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Abundant in the putamen and caudate nucleus regions of brain and testis, moderately expressed in the thyroid gland, pituitary gland, thalamus and cerebellum. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
