Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes platelet-derived growth factor D (gene PDGFD) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
PDGF-D is a PDGF family growth factor that, like PDGF-C, is secreted as a latent protein activated by removal of its CUB domain. The active PDGF-DD dimer signals mainly through PDGFRβ, promoting mesenchymal cell proliferation, macrophage recruitment and blood vessel maturation, and it is studied in angiogenesis, fibrosis and kidney disease models.
