Product Overview
Clone AOBE-16 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein disulfide-isomerase A6 (gene PDIA6) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 48.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 48 kDa.
PDIA6 (also called P5 or ERp5) is an ER-resident member of the PDI family with chaperone activity. It restrains the unfolded protein response by binding the stress sensors IRE1 (ERN1) and PERK, helping turn off signaling once stress resolves, and it also contributes to platelet activation. It is studied in ER stress and protein folding.

Reactivity Notes
