Boster Bio Anti-PDSS2 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A06930. Tested in WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.
Scientific background: The protein encoded by this gene is an enzyme that synthesizes the prenyl side-chain of coenzyme Q, or ubiquinone, one of the key elements in the respiratory chain. The gene product catalyzes the formation of all trans-polyprenyl pyrophosphates from isopentyl diphosphate in the assembly of polyisoprenoid side chains, the first step in coenzyme Q biosynthesis. Defects in this gene are a cause of coenzyme Q10 deficiency.
Cross reactivity: No cross-reactivity with other proteins
Protein: All trans-polyprenyl-diphosphate synthase PDSS2 | Gene: decaprenyl diphosphate synthase subunit 2 | Target: PDSS2
