Product Overview
Clone 29P66 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes peroxisomal membrane protein 11B (gene PEX11B) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 28.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 25 kDa.
PEX11B is a peroxisomal membrane protein that drives peroxisome proliferation. It elongates and deforms the peroxisomal membrane and helps recruit the dynamin-related GTPase DRP1 (DNM1L) with its adaptors to divide the organelle, and it is studied in peroxisome biogenesis and dynamics.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human THP-1 cells, human MCF-7 cells, human Jurkat cells, human REH cells, human HepG2 cells, mouse testis tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human liver cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
