Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects phosphoglucomutase-1 (gene PGM1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
Phosphoglucomutase 1 (PGM1) interconverts glucose 1-phosphate and glucose 6-phosphate through a glucose 1,6-bisphosphate intermediate. This makes it a link between glycogen metabolism, glycolysis and the supply of UDP-glucose for glycosylation, and PGM1 deficiency causes a congenital disorder of glycosylation.
