Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects phosphatase and actin regulator 1 (gene PHACTR1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PHACTR1 (phosphatase and actin regulator 1) binds actin monomers and the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase 1. Changes in G-actin levels control its association with PP1, which influences actin stress fibers, cell motility and endothelial tube formation, and it also affects neuronal migration. Common PHACTR1 variants are associated with coronary artery disease.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places phosphatase and actin regulator 1 in the cytoplasm, synapse and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in umbilical vein endothelial cells.
