Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects PHD finger protein 11 (gene PHF11) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 37.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 34 kDa.
PHF11 is a PHD finger protein reported to promote expression of Th1-type cytokine genes such as IFN-γ in T cells. It has been linked in genetic studies to asthma and IgE levels, but its molecular mechanism is only partly characterized.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human Jurkat cells, human RT4 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells, HeLa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PHF11 fragment (Met1–Lys284), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 57.4% and 57.3%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places PHD finger protein 11 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in T and B-cells, as well as natural killer and mature dendritic cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
